We Do The Work So You Don’t Have To
Building policies and procedures, planning for emergencies, completing risk analysis, training staff, everything boring and time consuming, but very much needed to satisfy the required and addressable implementation specifications of the HIPAA Security Rule. We do the difficult, the work our clients prefer not to.

Information systems are vitally important to the medical and senior living community caregivers. These systems allow the caregivers to provide medical care for their patients and residents in a confidential and efficient manner. Like dancing with fire, doing it yourself can be dangerous and extremely challenging. Our aim is to ensure that our clients’ patients’ health information is secure and to document that for compliance purposes. You don’t have to complete this mission alone. We can help, we can be your HIPAA Compliance Partners.
What We Do

Risk Analysis
We visit our clients’ premises annually, or as circumstances require, and conduct an accurate and thorough assessment of the potential risks and vulnerabilities to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their electronic protected health information. We then offer solutions to lessen the risks and vulnerabilities to acceptable levels or eliminate them altogether. Ultimately it is up to our clients to implement those offered solutions.

Policies, Procedures and Plans
We create and maintain reasonable and appropriate policies and procedures for our clients to remain compliant. Policies to apply appropriate sanctions against our clients’ staff members who fail to comply with security policies and procedures. Plans to backup our clients’ electronic protected health information and to recover from any disaster. We archive those documents and ensure they are current and available for six years.

Training
We build, manage, and track online training courses for our clients. Courses relevant to the privacy and security of electronic protected health information, and other courses pertaining to the rule. We ensure that the courses are interesting and moderately difficult. Each course consists of several pages. The students must read each page and demonstrate their comprehension of the information by answering a question correctly.
